The North Wales Blues and Soul Festival has appointed Influential to handle its national PR campaign.

The event is now in its second year, attracting acts from across Europe.

Supported by Mold Town Council and Flintshire County Council, its intention is to promote the region and support local businesses.

“We identified the blues and soul festival as means of supporting the town’s businesses and hospitality sector in particular in helping showcase Mold to a new audience.  The inaugural event in 2014 was considered a great success and so we have upgraded for 2015, with more and bigger name acts. We are delighted to be working with Influential and have a long term strategy to develop the event for the area,” explained David Hill, Mold town manager.

The Liverpool agency will work alongside promoter, Event Sound Management to deliver the PR programme.

“It’s a pleasure to be supporting Dave and his team in bringing this part of North Wales and the festival itself to a wider audience. The quality of acts and the sheer enthusiasm of the team is great material to work with,” added Influential director Chris Hulme.
