Turn Key, which was founded by Nik Entwistle from his bedroom in 2000, now has a team of 48 with clients including Johnson & Johnson, retail property developers Hammerson, pan-European hair extensions brand Great Lengths, Campari and Soap & Glory.

Entwistle explained why the agency had chosen LA as its first overseas office.

He said: “There is strong demand in the US market for integrated agencies that can deliver world-class creative as part of a digital, marketing and PR and social media offering.

“Building a team in the States is a natural next step given client demand, and furthers our vision to become a truly global agency with key market hubs.”

He added that there would be opportunities for current Leeds and London staff to work across all three sites.
