Weber Shandwick Manchester has added a further Welsh client to its roster, with National Trust Wales.

The agency will be working on a culture, heritage and tourism brief to promote Porth y Swnt, or “gateway to the sound”, which is a new centre for coastal excellence in Aberdaron.

Funded through the Coastal Tourism Project, led by Visit Wales and supported by the European Regional Development Fund, it’s been set up to look at the history of the Llŷn Peninsula.

“We needed a team who had a grounded understanding of Welsh tradition and quality national media contacts,” explained Kenneth Smith, PR and communications consultant for the National Trust Wales.

“Weber Shandwick Manchester were insightful in their approach to our complex brief, showing intelligence, sensitivity and a depth of understanding of our audiences.”

WSM already works with Destination Conwy, the Isle of Anglesey and Attractions of Snowdonia.
