Brian Child, the former chief executive of McCann Manchester has joined the board of directors at Event Marketing Solutions.
The Cheshire-based agency has made the appointment as it seeks international expansion, with Child leading its sales and marketing division – as well as being credited with the growth of McCann Manchester, he established experiential agency, Momentum in Europe.
“Brian has an impressive track record and we’re pleased to welcome him on board. He will play a pivotal role in the company’s development strategy as we focus on international expansion and strengthening our position overseas,” added Keith Austin, CEO at EMS.
EMS claims it’s Europe’s leading roadshow truck tour supplier and last year EMEA tours accounted for almost two thirds of its income.
“Since leaving McCann I have been in the envious position of being able to spend my time working with ambitious companies. When I met Keith I was impressed by what he had achieved and bought into his vision for the future growth of the company. I’m delighted to be part of their plans,” said Child.
