Rumpus PR in Hale is to run a 12 month programme of trade and consumer PR to promote children’s cancer research charity, KidsCan.

The charity, based out of Salford University is hoping to raise £300k this year to fund pioneering research projects, including the use of light to treat cancer.

“The work that KidsCan does on a daily basis is invaluable, however, as a charity, it relies solely on support from the public. By implementing a strategic and creative PR plan, we are hopeful KidsCan will not only meet its significant fundraising target this year, but exceed it,” said Gareth Clements, director at Rumpus PR.

Founded in 2002 by Professor Alan McGown,it is the only dedicated childhood cancer research charity in the country.
