Mid to Senior Digital Designer. Cheshire. £24,000 – £30,000

Set in the heart of leafy Cheshire, this established online gaming company are looking to expand their current team with the addition of a permanent in-house Designer.

With an existing portfolio of websites and a regular release schedule for future gaming sites, the role offers fresh design opportunities on an ongoing basis. A typical project will involve the creation of new branding, overall look and feel for the site, creation of landing pages and digital graphics, design of animated banner advertising for cross pollinating other portfolio sites, and the conception and design of regular email campaigns. In addition there will be the opportunity to work on additional print formats such as flyers and adverts etc.

As the only person working in this capacity within the company, albeit with the support of an existing freelance network, the successful candidate will be responsible for all creative strategy and aesthetic design. There is a real need for someone who can demonstrate confidence and a good communication skills. Work will be briefed in from numerous internal ‘clients’, and ideas will need to be presented and explained on a project by project basis.

The role does not require web build skills, however strong skills in Adobe’s Creative Suite are essential. Any experience with Flash, for the creation of animated banners, would be a real advantage.

In terms of career opportunities, this role is the first of what is expected to be numerous appointments of this skill set over the short to mid term future. It is expected that the person taking up this post will naturally adopt responsibility for new starters and ultimately end up running the team.
