Contract Type:

HAVAS LYNX is a communications agency with offices in Manchester, London and New York. In the UK we have a fantastic team of over 200 people, who work to plan, develop and deliver marketing campaigns for our clients from the public and healthcare sectors. It’s an exciting time for LYNX – we’re incredibly busy with lots of very interesting projects going on. Much of our work is on a global basis which means there is a lot of travel for some of our people.

We have developed a robust travel policy and this role is central in implementing this to ensure that our teams can travel in comfort and that any time that they spend away from home is well organised and trouble free. When we are in the UK, we like to celebrate as a team and we come together on a regular basis for company meetings, family fun days and off site forums. This role will carry responsibility for the organisation of our company events programme.

When you’re in the office, you’ll be Manchester based, though we are flexible and can offer this role on a full or part time basis and there is the option to work from home during some of this time.

We are seeking someone who is incredibly organised and experienced in working with a range of people at various levels of seniority. You may be in a similar role at present, perhaps you are a PA to a senior team, or an Office Manager – we are looking for someone who is experienced, comfortable and confident in the management of a breadth and high volume of requests.
Working with the team to ensure that they are where they need to be, managing their logistics in a timely and cost effective manner. You should be happy to build relationships with external suppliers where needed, ensuring we get great deals and that every option and eventuality is considered. When someone is away from home for a number of days, you’ll identify restaurants, entertainment options and make suggestions and reservations as needed.

In planning events, you’ll take full responsibility from start to finish, so we’ll look to you to understand the business objectives in relation to the event, develop and understand a full brief to ensure that expectations are defined, then source venues, suppliers, manage budgets and work with the marketing team to publicise activity internally to build excitement amongst the team.

We are looking for someone who has previous experience in working with a number of internal ‘clients’; we’re a busy office so you should be extremely reliable, able to work to deadlines, and confident ensuring that the big ideas make an impact and that the smaller details aren’t forgotten.
