Here at the Co-operative Group we’re going back to our roots, re-focusing on our founding principles, and championing a better way of doing business for our customers and communities. We’re now looking for an ambitious Studio Manager to help us implement and manage our new in-house design studio.
As Studio Manager, you’ll play a key role in creating a more coherent and consistent suite of visual brand assets across our whole family of Co-operative businesses. Building the studio from scratch (in conjunction with our technical teams), you’ll work closely with the Head of Brand Design to establish the best possible setup, then put in place the required infrastructure and recruit a small team of designers. Forming strong, productive relationships with our lead design agency and internal stakeholders will be vital to your success in this role, and once you’ve put the foundations of a successful team in place, we’ll look for you to make a big contribution to the delivery of work as we anticipate dealing with a high volume of tasks reflecting the size and diversity of the organisation.

Your ability to influence people and work productively with a wide range of stakeholders will ensure the studio is highly visible and viewed as a valuable resource by colleagues, and your tenacity, drive and most of all creativity will help us deliver innovative solutions within challenging timescales as we continue the process of revitalising our business.
