We’re looking for a Social & PR co-ordinator to come join us at BBHQ (Bargain Booze Head Quarters).

Experience a must. Bags of banter – beneficial.

No. of direct reports: 1 (Social Media Assistant)

To effectively deliver and contribute to the Social Media and PR strategies within budget, whilst ensuring relevant internal and external stakeholders remain engaged

•Contribute to the overall PR & Social Media strategy
•Manage and develop the social media platforms including Facebook and Twitter (including paid for activity)
•Content creation management for social media and PR
•Monitor, listen and respond to users – in line with brand personality
•Experiment with new and alternative ways to leverage social media activities
•Ensure that high standards of customer service are maintained through all social media channels with timely, brand appropriate responses ensuring an appropriate brand tone of voice.
•Prepare monthly performance reports that include usage and engagement statistics
•Monitor competitor activity and produce a monthly report detailing key messages and creative
•Deliver the PR plan with external PR agency – focusing on the power of ‘story telling’
•Drive additional Trade PR by co-ordinating and distributing ‘good news’ stories to priority trade publications.
•Monitor and circulate editorial coverage
•Co-ordinate all award entry collateral

Job Specification
•Minimum 2 years Social Media experience including paid for advertising
•Consumer and Trade PR experience preferred – but not essential
•Experience of managing external agencies
•Retail Experience (preferably in the Grocery sector)
•High levels of accuracy with impeccable attention to detail
•Good planning, organising and time management skills are required to be able to meet tight deadlines
•An openness to continual change
•Good communicator (verbally and in writing) at all levels
•Works well under pressure
•A team player
•Self-motivated, dedicated and positive
•A willingness to be flexible in line with the needs of the business

Salary expectation – up to £28,000 depending upon experience.

Required experience:
•PR, marketing, managment: 2 years
