A truly unique opportunity for a knowledgeable, experienced Social Media Manager to oversee all social media campaigns for a global brand, based at their Manchester headquarters.
This is a newly created role within the global Marketing and Communications team, and the focus of your role will involve the creation and execution of social media campaigns across multiple platforms, both globally and regional. You will be devising and planning creative and engaging campaigns to drive users into and across different social media platforms. All social media activity will integrate with the overall marketing and communications plan, and you will be regularly collaborating with internal Media, Marketing, CRM and Design to deliver each campaign. You will produce KPI reports and case studies on campaigns to highlight successes and use findings and feedback to improve future campaigns. Another key element of the role will be to identify and build relationships with influential bloggers for seeding of new content and apps.
This demanding, high profile role requires an individual with a proven track record of managing social media campaigns for major global consumer brands. From your experience, you will possess in-depth knowledge and a real passion for social media platforms (Facebook, Youtube, Twitter, Google +, Flickr etc.) and how they can be successfully deployed. You will be an enthusiastic and outgoing character, with the ability to prioritise, work under tight deadlines, and manage multiple tasks. You will have strong analytical thinking and problem solving ability, along with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
