What’s the Senior Web Analyst role all about?
As a new Senior Web Analyst working at AO (within the Ecommerce team) this role is predominantly an analytical role supporting various different departments across the business.
Your position will focus mainly on analysing, interpreting and delivering in-depth actionable insights into customer behaviour on our websites in support of continually optimizing performance. This role will be an integral part of the efforts of understanding and improving the onsite customer journey.
This key role will play an important part in driving the on-going success of Digital Analytics. Vast amounts of room and opportunities for growth and advancement.
What will my responsibilities be as an Senior Web Analyst?
Perform in-depth analysis on online user behaviour to identify opportunities to improve the onsite customer experience
Responding to all ad hoc analysis requests from varying teams and delivering key insights and recommendations.
Being the ‘go to’ person for all website performance queries.
Working closely and collaborating with the marketing, platform, content, and UX teams to provide actionable insights and drive change.
Reporting on key business KPI’s, analysing and understanding why metrics have changed
Building strong relationships with other key departments in the business to provide key insights and recommendations
Analysing results of A/B and multivariate testing and reporting back to the business on performance
Coordinating and maintaining page tagging and tracking parameter implementations
What skills do I need to have as an Senior Web Analyst?
Strong analytical skills and a keen eye for detail
Logical and methodical approach to problem solving
Strong communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate findings in a meaningful way.
Experience of working as a web/digital analyst
Organised and able to prioritise work effectively
Ability to work in a fast paced environment where flexibility is key as directions can change frequently.
