Our long established client, an international brand specialising in manufacturing, are looking for an experienced and talented Senior UX Designer to join their in-house team. This is a newly created position to coincide with the amount of investment they’ve put towards their websites in the last 12 months
A huge company who have adapted and continued to push the technology over the years to remain one of the leaders in their industry. This role is focussed on assisting the company in becoming more User Centric by enhancing user experience and journeys on numerous websites (internal and customer facing), including analytics performance monitoring and A/B testing to demonstrate UX benefits and continuous improvement to the business.
It will require the creation of UX design recommendations, guidance and guidelines but also monitoring 3rd party service providers in the specific fields of UX design whilst ensuring branding and design and compliance and best practices in customer journey/experience.
Setting-up recommendations and guidance towards web optimisation, improved performance (Quantitative and qualitative traffic), reaching pre-set KPIs and technological trends and tools in conjunction with other digital team members will be key.
You will be expected to work closely with our design team and front-end developers, on UX and design consistency for new and existing sites.
The ability to analyse results from testing and analytics to recommend and take appropriate action is essential.
Experience Desired –
5+ years professional design experience working within the digital Industry.
Fully conversant with the creation of a range of UX deliverables and concepts such as personas, site maps, user flows, wireframes and prototypes.
Familiar with, and contributor to Digital and User Experience trends.
Academic degree in a relevant field for example digital design, cognitive psychology or industrial design.
Strong ability to translate research findings into actionable insights.
Great collaboration, communication and presentation skills.
Understanding of and interest in relevant product and consumer behaviour trends.
Good understanding of different UX Design disciplines such as visual design, information architecture, interaction design, digital design and graphic design.
Ability to travel internationally occasionally.
