Our Digital Planners take elements of account handling and digital project management roles, pull in a history of hands on development and combine their skills in a position that is at the heart of our teams.
In this Senior Digital Planner role, you’ll be at the forefront of our innovation, leading client and internal discussions about the best possible technology through which to achieve an element of our campaign strategy. You’ll set out the technical approach to a project and you’ll be hands on in ensuring that the quality of the output provided is at the level that we’re looking for. The work that we do is in the healthcare sector, so you will ensure that what we produce is suitable for the end user, both in terms of accessibility and usability. We’re looking for someone who is excited by technology – and applying technology in an effective way. Sometimes it’s going for the simplest solution, sometimes it’s about showing off – in this role you’ll understand when it’s appropriate to go down either route and you’ll have the knowledge and willingness to try new platforms and approaches to attain the end goal.
This isn’t a hands on development role, but you’re likely to work sometimes with external providers, so the ability to assess the quality of what you get in response to a brief is key, as is the ability to go back to a developer that hasn’t quite hit the mark and explain what needs to change in order to satisfy what we’re after.
Supporting the process with suitable documentation is your responsibility, so we’d like you to bring experience of producing functional specs, user requirements documents, test cases, wire frames, and storyboards.
We work in a partnership capacity with our clients, which involves face to face meetings and due to the global nature of what we do, this involves some international travel. We’re looking for someone who enjoys working as part of a team and who is as happy socialising with clients and building great relationships as they are presenting ideas and solutions in a more formal setting.
This is a diverse, interesting and challenging role. We’re also fortunate enough to enjoy a great culture as a company – it’s genuinely good fun – we work hard, but we play hard too. We are currently in our second year of #LXAcademy, a learning and development programme that offers access to a selection from over 70 training sessions each year, which you’ll be able to access from day one.
