Manchester City Council’s Digital Communications Team is responsible for the award winning Council website, managing the site’s architecture and content, improving customer journeys and user experience using analytics and data to inform future developments and deliver the Channel Shift Strategy.
This is an opportunity to shape the development of innovative, engaging digital content across a range of platforms for Manchester.
The Senior Content Designer must have extensive experience of customer focused; task orientated content and content management systems. They will lead the development of digital content, with responsibility for the day to day management of a small content team.
The post holder will need to be able to work flexibly and use their own initiative with little supervision in a busy and pressurised environment. The ability to deal with competing priorities and to work to tight deadlines is essential.
Salary: Grade 7 £27,924 to £30,978 (Bar at £30,178) per annum

Hours: 35 per week
