HAVAS LYNX is a global communications group – with 250 employees and supported by the wider Havas network, we deliver truly global campaigns based on robust local insight. We work within the healthcare and wellness sector, so our campaign activity sees us help Patients to understand their treatment options, it helps to provide support to Carers, and it helps Healthcare Professionals, and others in healthcare systems to make appropriate treatment decisions. Our sector is a challenging market place, but the potential for reward is unrivalled – that sense of genuinely making a difference is hugely motivating. Our Head Office is in the centre of Manchester, and it is in this office that we have an opportunity for an experienced Production Manager to join one of our teams.

With responsibility for workload in a team of almost 30 people, this role will suit someone with strong agency experience in a similar position. At Lynx, you’ll work with the various disciplines to ensure the smooth process and procedure of work through the team, we’d also look to you for consistent evaluation and progression of department processes to ensure maximum efficiency, opportunity for collaboration and quality assurance.

More specifically, we’re looking for someone who will have a firm grasp on all required project deliverables, allocating work load in conjunction with department leads, ensuring that Creative Briefs, Campaign Plans, Promotion Briefs and so forth are completed appropriately, and assisting in this completion where needed. You’ll be involved in projects from concept development through to final sign off, co-ordinating and facilitating the process throughout. You’ll have visibility of budgets and will contribute to maximising productivity.

In the project planning phases you’ll work with Account handlers and production teams to accurately estimate the time required to complete tasks, then once in production, you’ll trouble shoot to resolve any problems that arise through the course of a job. Where we learn how to approach activity in a better way, you’ll share that learning and develop best practice and improved process.

In knowing what is happening, who is doing it, and what is coming next, you’ll be the best placed person in the team to identify where we need to draw on our bank of trusted freelancers to support the team in whatever the required capacity, you’ll build great relationships with these individuals, and arrange internally for them to be booked according to agency process.

As well as a proven track record in a similar role, your soft skills are important. While we’re a big agency, we’re structured around close knit teams, so your personality and ability to build relationships is key too. At Lynx you’ll constantly develop and add to your own experience and skill set and moreover, we are incredibly proud to offer a structured career development plan for every member of the team. We invest heavily in the training and progression of our team members – you can view more details on our LX Academy programme at
