Liverpool City Region LEP is the destination’s Official Tourist Board and has a vacancy for a Press Officer to take up a vital role in the team responsible for promoting all we have to offer.
We are looking for an experienced Media handler – probably with valuable newsroom experience, and definitely with deep knowledge and passion for Liverpool and its surroundings.
You will be responsible for raising and maintaining media profile for the Visitor Economy by engaging with wide and diverse international and domestic media audiences; arranging visits to the destination and working with the Tourist Board’s City Region members and national Partners.
The successful candidate will join the new Marketing Liverpool team and help to promote the City Region’s major events including International Festival For Business 2014.
