Creative communications agency HGA Creative is looking for a diligent and enthusiastic PR and Marketing Executive, to ensure the agency is maximising all opportunities to publicise and promote itself and realise its growth ambitions. You are likely to be a graduate of marketing, journalism or English, extremely well organised, and fastidious about attention to detail. You will probably have been working in the industry for a couple of years.

The role will encompass 3 focus areas: agency PR, social media management and being partially responsible for the agency’s digital presence.

Agency PR
You will be in charge of:

Identifying opportunities to promote HGA Creative through PR
Securing PR coverage in local, regional, national and specialist publications both on and offline.
The authoring and circulating of all press releases
Ensuring the press list is kept up to date with contacts
The management of the agency’s relationships with journalists
Keeping the cuttings book in reception up to date

Social Media
You will be in charge of:

Planning and implementing a social media strategy across all appropriate platforms, ensuring that the strategy meets the requirements of the business development department
Developing and maintaining a strong presence on social media – with particular focus on Twitter and LinkedIn – in line with the business development strategy
To strengthen and develop business relationships with our target audience via social media, whilst looking to nurture them as potential leads.
Reaffirming HGA Creative’s position as thought-leaders within the internal communications space by planning, researching, writing and distributing further eBooks to add to the series of 4
Publicising the agency’s ability to develop and create cutting edge work

You will be in charge of:

Planning a blogging diary on a monthly basis, ensuring posts are in-line with our business development targeting strategy, maximising the opportunity to drive traffic to the website
Contributing to and developing marketing plans and strategies that tie in with the business development strategy
Liaising with and managing a range of internal stakeholders to keep the website updated
with client information and case studies
Management of email marketing campaigns for new business and lead generation

Other responsibilities

Identifying opportunities to enter our work into relevant industry awards
Writing award entries for submission
Writing and proofreading copy for case studies
Evaluating the success of marketing campaigns and reporting back to internal stakeholders
