I am currently working with a company in Manchester who are looking for a new Account Manager due to the growth of the business.
They are looking for a candidate to join the B2B team, so strong experience on the B2B side is ideal, or a mix of consumer campaign experience and B2B campaigns are a necessity.
They are as interested in a really good SAE, as they are someone who is already on the brink of SAM, and being organised and efficient is one of the main skills they are looking for.
The sectors they work with are broad, so you will have a diverse range of accounts to work with and develop.
They need someone strategic with a creative mind-set with an agency background ideally.
Role responsibilities involve:
Ensuring the delivery of client projects across the consumer brands team within timescales and budget
Working closely with other teams to deliver integrated campaigns
Researching, writing, and gaining approval for the delivery of editorial opportunities and requests, such as press releases, features and interviews
Supporting and managing account executives
Identifying new business opportunities, including new clients and cross-selling services to existing clients
Working to tight deadlines while maintaining expected levels of client service
Attending networking, client and sector related events
Attending promotional events for clients
Writing proposals and working as part of a pitch team to win new business
Undertaking other client tasks where necessary, such as preparation of client conferences, press briefings and newsletters
