Location: Manchester

An assistant is required to support the Operations team of a busy Public Relations Consultancy.  Working closely with the office manager, the assistant will be responsible for:

  • Servicing client meetings (setting up meeting rooms, arranging catering and refreshments etc.)
  • Ordering office consumables (stationary, groceries and stock control
  • Arranging travel for consultants
  • Printer management
  • General filing
  • Housekeeping (liaising with the cleaners to maintain a clean and tidy office environment)
  • Incoming post distribution and franking/fulfilment of outgoing post and parcels
  • Maintaining databases
  • Assisting teams with miscellaneous client based tasks

Skills required:

  • Polite, confident and friendly manner
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Must display own initiative
  • Good all round education (A-C at GCSE)
  • Ability to organise and prioritise workloads
  • Experience of excel an advantage
