Our client, a multi channel retail business have a newly created role for an ambitious Online Marketing Assistant based at their head office in Manchester.
In this role, reporting to the Multichannel Marketing Manager, you will predominantly work on the eCommerce sites for major, high profile, consumer brands. You will contribute to the development and execution of the eCommerce activity plans including customer acquisition, site traffic, on-site content and merchandising, product and sales promotions, customer retention, and catalogue production.
A key element of your role will be monitoring, analysing and reporting on performance, utilising various analytics tools. You will also be expected to propose corrective actions and / or additional activity based on the analysis and interpretation. You will also get involved with competitor monitoring and benchmarking.
You will have gained some commercial experience of eCommerce / online marketing in a retail related business environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as well as an aptitude to learn and develop new knowledge and skills. Fluency in a 2nd European language, ideally German or French, would be advantageous, but is not essential.
