Amplifi is the media investment arm of Dentsu Aegis Network. Its goal is to deliver a demonstrable uplift in media performance across TV, Print, Digital and Radio on a global basis. The role in the TV Planning team offers the opportunity to work with some of the UK’s biggest advertisers, playing a key role in the deployment of their TV advertising campaigns while working closely with the all the major commercial broadcasters such as ITV, Channel 4, FIVE & Skymedia. To be clear, we don’t make TV commercials! Our role as Broadcast specialists is to advise our clients where to deploy their TV advertising budgets to maximise return on investment for their businesses.
As a graduate TV Planner, your role is to understand the viewing habits of your client’s target audience including the channels they watch, the types of programming they enjoy, when they choose to view and even on what type of device they prefer to watch content. Using this knowledge we are then able to recommend the most suitable TV strategy for our clients.
To excel in this role you need to be numerate, analytical, articulate and a strong communicator who can work in a fast paced environment, but most of all you must have a passion for TV.
