Marketing / Studio Manager – Manchester – £40-50k (12-14 month contract)
Incredibly successful FMCG products company, based in Manchester, is looking for a Marketing / Studio Manager to join their team, covering the maternity leave of their existing marketing manager, for a period of 12-14 months.
Working with a team of four designers, it will be your responsibility to manage all creative and marketing-led projects, including resource, time and workflow. You will ensure that all briefs are communicated to the design team, according to the individual skills, and that the work is delivered to an exceptionally high standard and to the tight deadlines set internally. You will review and analyse all projects that pass through the studio (predominantly packaging and brochure design), with the confidence and capability to review the work and know when it is ready for print. You will compile studio schedules for senior management meetings and keep a meticulous library of all work and assets (digital and hard copy) for future reference.
You will be an experienced studio manager from a creative background, ideally with experience of packaging. You will be used to dealing with a high volume of simultaneous projects and work well under pressure – you will have experience of working within efficient processes and be able to multitask and prioritise accordingly. You will have an excellent eye for branding and consistency amongst it, and be used to handling and developing artwork briefs. You will be able to follow strict brand guidelines, while having the ability to create new brands and the guidelines that accompany them. You will have an excellent understanding of what the consumer wants and how to communicate this on pack.
This is a fantastic role for a senior and experienced studio manager to really make a difference within this large organisation. You will look after an existing department that runs exceptionally well, with great talent and a lovely culture. It is important that you are bright, confident and creative minded, so you can motivate the team appropriately.
