Our client is a large travel organisation who are looking for a senior Marketing Manager, managing a team in a very fast paced and busy marketing department. Managing a team which is a mix of senior and exec level. Ideally the candidate will come from a travel background or possibly fast paced retail, any candidate with experience of chartered holidays or tour holidays would be ideal. Any applicant must be used to working in a very commercial environment.
The Marketing Manager is responsible for the planning, creation and implementation of consumer and trade marketing for all European and Worldwide products. Also responsible for:
Operating as a member of the business management team, providing marketing and commercial support as required. With the team managing all direct mail campaigns to maximise sales for your product areas, ensuring that all pieces are accurate, powerful, adhere to brand guidelines and are produced on-schedule.
Work with Sales and Marketing colleagues to support them in managing trade marketing activity and ensure maximum exposure for your product areas. Oversee the production, print and distribution of all main and tactical brochures for your product areas, in consultation with the Commercial Director, Head of Marketing and Commercial Managers. Manage the press advertising for your products as required, in consultation with the Commercial Director, Head of Marketing and Commercial Managers
Although there is a focused digital team you will be responsible for working with E-Commerce colleagues to ensure promotion of your product areas as appropriate across all digital channels including on-site merchandising, paid and natural search, email and affiliate networks. Work with Product, Marketing and PR colleagues to drive awareness and business for your product areas through all relevant trade and consumer media. All the above needs to be tracked, measured and reported back to senior colleagues internally, improving on response and tailoring campaigns to ensure increase of ROI.
The candidate – will be able to create and implement consumer and trade campaigns across direct mail, print advertising and digital channels. They will need to work effectively with internal teams and external agencies and suppliers. We are looking for a confident team player with the ability to work under pressure whilst managing multiple campaigns across a wide product portfolio.
