Key 103 is looking for an experienced, driven and creative Marketing Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting Key 103 and its sister stations Key 2 and Key 3, in terms of both their on-air output and their multi-platform digital products, to existing and potential listeners and B2B clients, with the primary objectives of increasing brand visibility, awareness and consumption.
This role requires a candidate who is a true self-starter, with extensive experience of building strategic marketing partnerships with closely aligned 3rd parties. They also need to be confident in developing and managing both new and existing marketing ideas and station events; creating innovative commercial partnerships to commercialise and generate revenue for the station; and working closely with multiple internal departments to ensure successful delivery of a wide variety of projects.
The ideal candidate will already have, or be able to build quickly, a strong network of external partners across the station’s Greater Manchester transmission area.
Candidates must be highly organised with excellent communication skills, as well as having experience of managing events right up to arena scale. This person will also be responsible for generating ideas and copy for use across a variety of marketing channels including PR, social media, web content, email content and B2B communications amongst others.
Working with a close-knit team within the station, they must be able to communicate confidently at all levels and have the ability to liaise with several departments in order to fulfil the stations brand and marketing requirements.
