Job Purpose:
You’d be in charge of planning and developing the right marketing strategy to get RealtimeUK noticed by the right people and secure their interest. This means you’d have to keep in touch with what your audience wants and know the best ways of speaking to them.

With the market changing rapidly, you’ll have to keep on top of research checking the market, rival companies and the success of your campaign. Your daily routine will be varied and also include overlooking service development and finding potential new customers

Skills required:

  • Have or develop a thorough knowledge of the technology relating to the service
  • Have the ability to organise everything concerned with the service’s development
  • Have the capability to challenge, persuade and disagree with senior managers to win your case
  • Have good leadership skills to supervise those involved with each stage in the process
  • Have the ability to focus on specific goals
  • Be able to assimilate theoretical market knowledge and back it with hard comparative facts
  • Be a doer and be prepared to handle every aspect of the project yourself
  • Be energetic and passionate about your service
  • Be able to translate people’s creative ideas into tangible commercial deliverables to a deadline
  • Be able to work under pressure

Additional Responsibilities:
• Liaise with media in a professional and developmental way
• Create marketing plans
• Propose and Implement PR strategies
• Produce press releases
• Update Website & Drive Social Media including Twitter & Facebook
• Write Copy from Creative Input
• Project Manage Launches & Customer Events
• Creating interest prior to & Maximizing Impact of Vimeo/YouTube launches
• Drive E-Marketing
• Proactively develop marketing materials and initiatives to generate sales leads
• Operate within budget
• Organise trade shows
• Identify potential for and submit applications for awards nominations

Honours Graduate in Marketing Communications or Comparable

Two years of experience in an e-marketing role
Knowledge of the CGI Market preferred

Westby or Manchester studio
