As our Marketing Executive you will work within our outreach team performing social media and blogger outreach tasks to build relationships with influential people within their chosen industry. This will include the creation of social accounts (including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, and YouTube etc.), using tools to identify and engage with the most authoritative publishers, trusted forums and active groups most relevant to each client/project. You will also be required to keep the company up to date with the latest SEO and social media advances. This is a key role within the business and would be best suited to someone with traditional SEO link building / website evaluation skills and/or strong social media awareness.
Use of our outreach tools to identify and engage with potential contacts
Build & maintenance of influencer lists for each client and vertical
Monitoring the mentions for all projects and reporting back to clients on a monthly basis.
Assist with the creative process when suggesting ideas for content to publishers and requesting content briefs from publishers.
Assisting Account Managers and Sales team with new business opportunities for social media and/or blogger outreach in order to grow as a department and service.
Creating and posting tweets or comments on social media platforms as required
Researching into new advances within the social media, SEO & outreach market and ensuring the company is kept up to date
Additional ad-hoc duties as required by the business
Skills and Experience:
Ability to confidently use and open social media accounts including Facebook, Twitter, Linked In, YouTube, Foursquare, Pinterest, Vine etc.
Have a flair for engaging with website owners, bloggers, social media users and editorial sites
Ability to be creative in producing ideas to help promote a client’s website, content and social media accounts (essential)
