Consumer Marketing Executive (Maternity Cover) – Manchester – £20-25k
Much-loved charitable organisation, based in Salford Quays, is looking for a consumer-facing Marketing Executive to cover a 12=month maternity leave contract starting immediately.
The main focus of this role is to provide integrated marketing and communications across campaigns for the general public. Reporting to the B2C Campaign Manager, you will work as part of the marketing team in the implementation of specific marketing plans, which support business growth. You will be a dynamic and creative self-starter with excellent copy writing skills, able to make a vital contribution to the public positioning of the charity. You will help devise and implement communication strategies, working with the Campaign Manager, Digital Manager, Digital Executive and Social Media Manager. You will closely with the digital team to produce content for public engagement through various channels and to help plan and support the digital communications plan. You will help source case studies and testimonials for PR activity and also work across the charity’s exhibitions and events, in order to raise awareness of the work they do. You will monitor competitor behaviour and recommend appropriate marketing activity to respond accordingly to market trends.
You will be qualified to degree level (or equivalent) and have a recognised marketing qualification. You will be a seasoned marketing professional, with experience across a wide range of integrated channels. You will have experience of managing projects on your own, including the planning and reporting of these projects. You will be a strong writer, with experience of press releases and communication plans. Finally, you will have experience of working within a commercially-focussed organisation, towards targets and KPIs.
