Overall job description

Your role as account manager will be all-encompassing. A thorough awareness of creative and production processes is a necessity, as is knowledge of marketing and media strategy. Generation of new business, involvement in pitching processes, handling client contact and on-going collaboration with and continued management of our web development and creative team’s workflows will also be essential.

The role in greater depth


Conduct research for existing clients and potential new business.


Writing will be a significant part of the position where you will have responsibility for generating copy for numerous reports, briefs, proposals, presentations and strategy documentation.

Project Supervision

Comprehensively inform creative, marketing and technical teams of individual job specifications.

Ensure project completion is adhered to within allotted timescales whilst informing team members throughout development process.

Quality control all work produced by internal and external sources.
Limit re-working time by accurately informing creatives of any requested amendments.

Take responsibility for keeping projects to original budgets to aid profitability.

New Business
Recognition of new business opportunities.

Contribute to any proposals forwarded to potential new clients.

Having a presence at client pitching meetings and other relevant events.

Dealing with suppliers

Maintain contact and build relationships with suppliers.

Financial Management

Participate towards formulation of costings in proposal documents.

Investigate methods of enhancing cost-effectiveness of projects in tandem with the relevant production manager.

Highlight additional means of attracting new business to aid profitability.
