MIDAS, one of the UK’s most successful inward investment agencies, is seeking a new Business Development Manager to join our high performing team in promoting one of Europe’s leading business cities – Manchester.
With a focus on winning new business, you will be experienced in developing the whole sales process, from the utilisation of robust research and targeting techniques informing lead generation, to project management of sales enquiries and closing deals.
You will have a proven track record of building relationships with C-Level individuals within multi-national companies in a B2B environment, where a consultative and knowledge based sales approach is required alongside excellent commercial acumen to identify and facilitate new investment opportunities.
The ideal candidate will have demonstrable strategic sales and account
management experience for new business and be able to develop bespoke solutions tailored to the specific business requirements of the client.
With a good understanding of how marketing supports the sales process, you will work with marketing colleagues to devise ways of accessing clients through a number of channels, both direct and via the development of an intermediary network.
It is essential that you bring in-depth knowledge of at least one sub-sector of the
Creative and Digital Industries and have the ability to quickly develop and apply
credible knowledge and understanding of other related sub-sectors.
