This established publishing group have a number of different consumer titles within their portfolio. The Managing Editor will be responsible for ensuring that each of these publications is produced to the highest possible standard and meets the needs of the reader on an ongoing basis.
You’ll be tasked with developing and supporting the individual editors and editorial team, holding planning meetings and new product development sessions to ensure that the businesses offering stays ahead of the curve in terms of both editorial content, covers and product packaging. Your key performance indicators will be overall copy sales and market share.
Suitable candidates will have at least 2 years previous experience in a magazine editorial position which will have given them a deep understanding of the consumer magazine world. This is a rare opportunity to join an established organisation at a senior level.
