Our client provides digital and marketing services to their customer base, and they have an opportunity for a Digital and Marketing Manager to join them to cover a 9 month period of maternity leave, based at their head office in East Cheshire.
As Digital and Marketing Manager you will be responsible for planning and delivering intelligent, customer-led communications through all channels in line with the overall brand and marketing plan. A key aim of the role is to drive quality sales leads to an internal and field sales team, working closely with the Sales Manager. The role is heavily weighted towards digital activity, and you will be briefing and overseeing digital campaigns that integrate with offline activity, supported by digital channel specialists. You will be tasked with measuring and evaluating campaigns and refining on going plans to maximise return on marketing communications investment.
An experienced marketer, you will have a thorough understanding and appreciation of creating, delivering and continually improving integrated marketing campaigns, including strong digital knowledge. Working in a small team, you will have a hands-on approach to your work, including an intermediate level of ability with Indesign and Photoshop. A good eye for detail is required to check copy, as well and excellent communication and interpersonal skills to develop and establish good working relationships, both internally and externally.
An ideal start date is the beginning of February to allow a good handover period with the incumbent, and the role will initially be on a 9 month contract basis.
