Head of Online Marketing – East Lancashire – £55-65k
Large, B2B communications and technology group, based near Burnley in East Lancashire, is looking for a Head of Digital / Online Marketing to join their marketing team and oversee all digital strategy and campaign activity.
You will be responsible for developing and managing the online marketing strategy, delivering an incremental revenue stream, through direct online sales incentives. You will drive acquisition, cross-sell and retention strategies and oversee tactical spend to maximise ROI. You will develop and enhance the company brand through effective content, campaigns and communication, achieving agreed commercial targets. You will deliver high volume, qualified traffic using all available online channels including PPC, SEO, placement advertising and affiliate marketing, while overseeing the development of the group websites.
Reporting to the Marketing Director and working closely with the Senior Marketing Manager, you will devise briefs for campaign activity (including audience definition) for the effective management and planning of media. You will oversee a team that manages the website content, compliance, design and development. You will oversee all search marketing and affiliate partnerships, ensuring that all campaigns are fully evaluated and reported on. You will manage external suppliers, ensuring SLA’s are in place and all emerging trends and technologies are embraced.
You will be an experienced digital marketer with expertise across a wide range of online marketing principles (PPC, SEO, affiliates, media buying and content marketing). You will have excellent analytical and commercial skills, with a passion for internet-related technology. You will be a strong leader with people management experience and have worked on B2B campaigns in the past.
