The Manchester Growth Company (MGC) is a unique multi-service delivery provider with a responsibility for delivering growth and prosperity for the city region and beyond. MGC is commercial in its ambitions yet non-for-profit.
We are currently recruiting two significant new roles to support the strategic marketing of MGC’s services to businesses in the region. The range of services provides an exciting and challenging marketing responsibility for candidates who have expertise in either B2B or B2C and want to lead marketing for one of the biggest business service solutions teams and the largest skills provider in the UK. The positions will ensure businesses large and small capitalise on all the opportunities from training to apprenticeships and development; grants and funds; export advice; and a range of business support services that all support the priority of growing businesses.
The Manchester Growth Company Head of Marketing (Business) will work with the MGC Services Marketing Director to develop promotion strategies for MGC services to the diverse and important audiences of businesses. The role will lead the implementation and evaluation of delivery plans for multiple brands across business units, covering a broad range of business services, target markets, geographies, and prioritise regular demands to ensure delivery of contractual requirements.
The variety of audiences will mean the marketing function will have to deploy innovative youth marketing to attract talent into training and skills solutions; effective B2B activity from start-ups to blue chips; alongside influencing partners including national government departments; and ultimately providing real purpose in a challenging and target performance environment.
This role will be responsible for strategic B2B and B2C activity, alignment of marketing across the group and a continual improvement programme. More can be found about the Manchester Growth Company and the roles on the website – www.manchestergrowth.co.uk
