dock10 operates the Studios facility and campus network at MediaCityUK in Manchester. As experts in high quality video content we offer a range of Studio, Post and Platform services.
Our Studio business provides state of the art HD facilities, technical support and crews to a range of TV customers. Regular studio productions include major brands such as Match of the Day, Blue Peter, Jeremy Kyle, Countdown, CBBC and The Voice.
Our Post business provides a wide range of post production and vfx services to the Broadcast, Advertising and Corporate markets.
Our Platform business provides managed services including: Infrastructure, Content Management and innovative Remote Production solutions.
Our clients include: BBC Sport and Children’s, ITV Studios , international broadcasters , a wide range of independent production companies and agencies in the Television , Advertising and Corporate sectors, tenants at MediaCityUK and major connectivity providers.
As our business continues to evolve we are now keen to appoint a Head of Marketing. This is a new and important post for the development of dock10 and therefore one that the successful candidate will have the opportunity to grow and shape.
About the role and your skills
We’ll need you to lead our marketing communications and campaign activity and build relationships with customers, partners, suppliers, external agencies and analysts. The role will also include:
• Managing the development of the dock10 brand.
• Developing messaging for new service propositions.
• Working closely with sales teams across the business to drive opportunities.
• Campaign management including digital and social media marketing.
• Managing PR and Communications.
• Use of data analytics and CRM platforms.
What we are looking for
With formal marketing qualifications you’ll be an experienced marketeer and are likely to be currently operating in a senior marketing role within the media or technology sector.
You will be a strategic thinker with a track record in developing and implementing B2B marketing campaigns and long term brand awareness. Adaptable, ambitious and accountable you’ll be confident in your ability to drive the business forward through your marketing skills and a “hands on” attitude to making things happen. Whilst this is not a sales role you will have a strong emphasis on driving future opportunities into the business.
