Job Summary

The Client Services Director is a “hands on” role with responsibility for the day-to-day management, delivery and service to all RSM clients.

Job Overview

To provide drive, enthusiasm and proactive support to both the account management team and RSM clients, managing the accounts through strong interpersonal skills, planning and organizational abilities, taking accountability for the service provided. To create and maintain a culture of ‘can do’ thinking and innovation within the agency. Be professional, challenging and supportive of the account management team, the agency and its clients in accordance with the company’s values; integrity, quality and delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Pro-active in developing new and existing business, alongside the AD/Senior Management, to generate additional revenue
• Work closely with the MD to nurture new business opportunities
• Identify new business opportunities from existing/potential contacts
• Develop strategies, alongside the MD, to convert and realise these opportunities
• Drive and manage new business pitches

Client servicing:
• To co-ordinate and manage the account management resource to effectively deliver client requirements
• You will be the main senior level contact for current and new clients as, and when, they come on board
• Retain a good knowledge of the clients current, and future, work and needs to ensure efficiency and delivery
• Work with the client and RSM team in order to develop new opportunities
• Take a pro-active approach to strive to deliver over and above expectations
• Simply… to deliver an excellent service with a ‘can do’ attitude, whilst not compromising the quality

• Take responsibility for challenging client briefs, to ensure objectives are being met, the right information is present and pushing back to client where necessary, for the best end results
• Ensure the quality of internal creative briefing high
• Work closely with the Studio to raise the standard and quality of work being produced
• Responsible for reviewing all creative work for clients and ensuring the right parties are at the briefing session
• Drive/question creative development and participate in creative discussions
• Encourage and develop Account Management Team to deliver a better quality of creativity/design

• Remain in touch with the automotive industry, trends and development
• Keep up-to-date with the marketing industry and its developments, particularly in the digital arena
• Develop views and opinions on key industry and client issues
• Seek new opportunities to further develop best practice and efficiencies within RSM
• Remain 100% professional at all times, particularly when dealing with the client
• Build and promote team spirit within the agency
• Support the MD in building and developing the agency
