A growing Manchester based Marketing & Design Agency is recruiting a Graphic Designer to help deliver client marketing campaigns.
The work demands creative flair, up-to-date knowledge of industry software and a professional approach to time management, costs and deadlines.
Working to a brief agreed with the client or account manager, a graphic designer will develop creative ideas and concepts, choosing the appropriate media and style to meet the objectives of the client.
Creating and amending artwork using the Mac
Creating, developing and managing client brands
Contributing to creative brainstorms
Creating email marketing campaigns
Developing info graphics
Searching for images using online photo libraries
Producing event flyers & managing email distribution
Conducting campaign research online
Loading content online
Setting up files for print, using printer specifications and checking printing proofs
Requesting quotations, sending artwork to print and tracking production
Designing and building presentations and animations
Keeping abreast of developments in IT, particularly design programmes such as Illustrator, Photoshop, In-Design, Acrobat, Dreamweaver and Flash
Excellent conceptual design skills
Good typography sense
An instinctive sense of colour and proportion
Good design development and style roll out skills across any collateral
Able to work quickly and efficiently in a deadline orientated environment
Confident under pressure.

Excellent attention to detail
Ability to work well under pressure & multi-task
Qualifications & Experience:
Ideally applicants should have a relevant qualification in Graphic design and a minimum 12 months’ work experience. Must be confident using packages: Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop & In-Design.
