My client is a well known, long established, international sports / fashion brand. Their apparel retails both online, with their own site and 3rd party online retail partners, and also through their stores. With a reputation for quality and style, their marketing team are charged with the perpetuation of the brand values across all channels.
As the internal team are responsible for the entire marketing mix, the individuals in the team get to work on a wide range of disciplines, from brochures and advertising, to photo shoots, POS, signage, brand work, landing pages, digital assets, social media content and more. No two days are the same, making for an exciting role, perfect for the individual who likes to be challenged. However they have created a supportive and relaxed environment that encourages initiative, provides training, and rewards commitment. The low levels of staff turnover and lengths of tenure amongst many off the company’s staff speaks reams about.
They are looking for an individual to join the team who finds this opportunity interesting, exciting even, someone who doesn’t want to be stuck in a hum drum role doing the same thing continuously. They need someone who is Graphic Designer / Artworker by experience, but generally creative if asked to work on a photography brief, happy to turn their hand to a little copy, and open to creating engaging content for their social media streams.
Understandably the successful candidate will need to demonstrate good working knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Indesign, Photoshop), a sensible awareness of how brands portray themselves in the social space, and good grammar / attention to detail. A good design degree, and a minimum of a couple of years experience employed in a design role are required. Any interest in fashion would be a real bonus.
In return you’ll get to work with a great team, in a company that looks after its people. And, to top it off, you’ll have the opportunity to travel with the team to some amazing events, both in the UK and overseas.
