Taking responsibility for the bookkeeping for a rapidly expanding digital marketing agency. Working within the Manchester head office. The role will be initially part time (around 2 days per week) with flexible hours.


Maintaining the bookkeeping within Xero Including:

Processing sales and purchase invoices
Managing the monthly invoice schedule
Producing a weekly payment run for approval
Credit control including reminding clients of payment due dates and chasing payments on overdue accounts
Processing sales invoices, receipts and payments
Dealing with all financial paperwork and filing
Checking and reconciling company bank statements
Completing VAT returns
Managing commission payments
Processing Payroll monthly
Liaising with the company accountants

At least 2 years bookkeeping experience
Good computer skills (Excel and Word)
Excellent concentration and attention to detail

Experience of Xero but the system is pretty intuitive.
Ability to put together financial models including cash-flow forecasts
