We are now seeking to appoint an Executive Producer for CBBC Productions Interactive.

Role Responsibility

The Executive Producer, CBBC Productions Interactive, reports to the Head of CBBC Productions and will provide strong leadership to the in house interactive team. Working closely with the senior in house team and FM colleagues, they will be responsible for the development and production of innovative multiplatform content – both stand alone and aligned to TV brands. They will establish collaborative and effective relationships across the department, including with the Controller, CBBC, FM Head of Product and General Manager, UX colleagues, and the new Head of Interactive for Children’s.

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing strong leadership to the in house team of interactive content producers

• Implementing and ensuring that the strategic multiplatform ambitions for CBBC Productions and CBBC are realised across the website and other interactive platforms.

• Advising on and pitching ideas for future in house commissions.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a talented Executive Producer with a proven track record in leading and managing large teams. You’ll be able to demonstrate strong creative and managerial skills, as well as a sound understanding of all interactive platforms, their capabilities and an appreciation of how children consume these services.

You will demonstrate sound financial acumen and a strong sense of driving best value for the license fee able to manage budgets, control costs and maximise value across all expenditure. Experience in working with children and producing successful content for the CBBC audience is also desirable
