This is a brilliant opportunity for an experienced European Marketing Manager to join this hugely successful global brand, working closely with UK Managing Director to lead the development & implementation of the European marketing & communications strategy, working with key partners in key European countries to create cohesive approach to the European market.
What you’ll be doing
In this newly created role you’ll lead and grow a small European marketing team of direct and indirect reports to deliver brand consistent projects and activity, supporting global product launches and campaigns.
You’ll devise and deliver a strategic marketing plan using consumer insight and market analysis to drive success. Creating effective and engaging European & country marketing campaigns, you will grow brand awareness, driving loyalty and continued repeat business.
Tracking and managing competitor activity is also key, as is the collection and analysis of customer feedback and working with the wider senior team to improve European and Global marketing cohesiveness. You’ll develop and grow the marketing team as the business evolves and also identify and build strong relationships with partners, brands, retailers and specialist agencies adding value to the business.
What experience you’ll need
To be considered for this role you’ll need proven extensive European trade marketing experience. You will be a strategic and inspirational leader, not afraid to get hands on, you will be used to working in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment, maximising internal resources and marketing spend. Strong brand development and management experience is key as is a solid understanding of customer segmentation and targeting to maximise commercial results. With a keen eye for creative detail and an appreciation of local market nuances you know what appeals to consumers and can translate that into engaging campaigns.
