Digital Account Manager – £30,000-£35,000 – Manchester

Due to continual year on year growth my clients are looking to expand their account management team with a digital specialist. As one of Europe’s best known Marketing Agencies they offer and unrivalled benefits package and work environment.

As the ambassador for the digital and studio team you will work alongside them to co-ordinate projects from conception to completion. You will also be tasked with developing strong relationships with their existing client base and play a strategic role in their campaign development and execution.

To be considered you must be able to:

-To establish, develop and maintain long-term relationships with key stakeholders within the client accounts
– To proactively develop new relationships across the accounts
– To sell a broad range of services and capabilities
– To continuously refine and reposition the APS proposition for clients
– Embrace the clients culture and fully understand their marketing objectives and strategy
– Be able to understand and interpret customer requirements and briefs
– Add value at point of brief and throughout the campaign with suggestions of improvements/alternatives
– Identify areas for innovation within existing clients under their control
– Manage a portfolio of clients accounts and projects across a broad range of creative, technical and/ or specialist activities.
– Makes positive first and subsequent impressions
– Can develop existing client relationships, effectively communicate the departments operations and capabilities and ensure a consistent and growing flow of work in to the department
– Assimilates and presents information clearly and effectively
– Tuned into client perspective – up to date with changes in client organisation which can affect the APS business
– Can proactively provide expert advice and guidance on the best solutions for clients communication needs
– Able to network effectively within the account
– Builds relationships with clients at all levels based on trust and credibility
– Can understand and interpret client and APS business requirements (strategic and tactical) and translate into actions
– Uses personal influencing style to gain appropriate outcomes
– Handles conflict and issues appropriately and sensitively and resolves to the customers satisfaction
– Can escalate difficult or sensitive issues as appropriate
– Can source, develop and manage Clients and areas of business both internally and externally
– Can demonstrate a keen understanding and interest in industry advancements and how these advancements can benefit our clients
