If you’re a commercially savvy, analytically minded individual, this Customer Data Analyst role within the marketing team of this long-established and award-winning B2C services business, could be what you’ve been waiting for. The role is based at the company’s head office near Wigan.
You will take full responsibility for maintaining the customer database, which will include cleansing and improving customer contact information, providing relevant data for marketing, producing reports, analysis and distributing customer information. You will also work closely with the Head of Marketing to help develop and implement a CRM strategy, to improve customer retention. Day-to-day you will be involved with monitoring marketing campaign performance against KPIs, campaign targets and ROIs, as well as monitoring customer trends from database analysis, and satisfaction trends within the business. You will also be responsible for ensuring up-to-date customer information is available to the marketing and senior management teams.
This is a business critical role that requires a highly motivated individual with strong CRM and database knowledge and experience. Ideally you will have strong SQL experience, as well as competence with Crystal Reports, SAS, SPSS, SAP or Business Objects report writing. A highly technical and analytical role, you will have knowledge of CRM packages such as Alterian, Faststats, or Neolane, and of demographic profiling techniques such as Mosaic. This role isn’t just about managing the data, you will need to really understand the business and how the data feeds into the commercial marketing activities. Naturally you will possess excellent attention to detail, with the ability to work to deadlines, and strong communication skills with the ability to interpret and present data.
