Our client is a globally recognised sporting brand who are looking for a Creative Copywriter.
This company are well recognised all over the world, due to a restructure within the business theyre seeking a new Artworker to join its team. Youll be working on a wide range of highly creative pieces across various disciplines, print and web campaigns. Based in Manchester at their head office, they also have offices in Asia and London.

You will report to the Senior Art Director
The Copywriter will be a key creative within the Design Team an all rounder working closely with the team to deliver high quality ideas, concepts, creative and written work across all of our projects with a focus on direct response. Work is hugely varied, including campaign concepts, headline development, scriptwriting, short copy and long copy across both below the line and above the line advertising.
The key responsibilities of the post are-
Develop, introduce and maintain the process and protocols for how the Design Team work with internal and external clients to create copy
Work with internal clients and assist brief writers to ensure the briefs are compelling and single minded
Develop creative ideas and concepts, often in partnership with Art Directors
Presenting ideas to colleagues and clients
Develop intimate knowledge of internal products and services and target audiences
Write clear, persuasive, original copy
Proofreading copy to check spelling and grammar
Amending, revising or redeveloping adverts or campaigns in response to feedback from the Senior Management, account team or clients
Overseeing campaigns through the production stage to completion
Working on several campaigns at once, sometimes under pressure and often to tight deadlines
Monitoring the effectiveness of advertising campaigns
Experience / Skill Set
Extensive experience in developing creatively appealing and commercially viable copy while delivering to brief
Solid client-facing experience, pitching, presenting and developing client relationships
Proven experience of contributing to creative strategy
Outstanding creative crafting skills campaign concepts, headlines, name generation, digital marketing media, information/functional copy and editing
Strong knowledge of artwork/repro/print processes where necessary, web and film editing processes
In-depth knowledge and experience of marketing communications and delivering creative promotions in retail environments
Excellent project management skills
Strong Excel, Word, Keynote, Powerpoint and Outlook skills
Great personal qualities such as communication skills and experience of working with cross-functional teams in brief development and translation to concept
