We are seeking a proactive and enthusiastic individual who is good with people and has excellent verbal and written communication skills for the role of Corporate Communications Writer at Liverpool Hope University.

Ideally, you will have experience of working in a Corporate Communications role and have experience of the Higher Education sector. Candidates without this experience but with a track record of writing engaging and well-written copy will also be considered. Experience of using a web content management system and Dreamweaver would be an advantage, although training will be provided.

You will be supporting the Head of Corporate Communications in all areas of the small team’s work, but particularly with internal communications, web content production and management, and proofreading. Your day-to-day tasks will include sourcing and writing news stories and expert comment for the University’s website and in house publications, website content management, production of staff and student bulletins and proofreading corporate communications materials. You will be tasked with developing internal relations to enhance and maintain the supply of good news stories that promote the University.
