About the Company
Manchester Creative Digital Assets Limited is a new company set up to manage, develop and physically expand the assets funded by the City of Manchester to grow the digital, production and creative sectors.
The assets include the highly successful Sharp Project – a multi-million pound investment that has delivered more than 60 new digital businesses and £32million in economic impact along with The Space Project, a purpose built TV production campus that has brought large-scale network drama to the City. Clients are across all major channels from ITV, BBC, C4, Sky and Fox USA, and have driven up demand for new facilities that are now under construction and due to complete in Autumn 2017. This next phase includes a 30,000 square foot sound stage with a further 50,000 square feet of offices, support space and workshop/ business units for the industry supply chain.
The new Company incorporates an experienced delivery team with the expansion creating further opportunity to recruit two new key senior roles – Chief Executive Officer and Financial Controller. We are looking for people with a passion for TV production, creative content and the digital sector; who want to develop talent; who can lead the Company through its next growth stage and speak as an ambassador for Manchester as the City region embarks on a new devolved future. The two posts will work together to commercially focus the success of the new company and ensure that the core vision and values are met.
Chief Executive Officer
The CEO will report to the Board, providing leadership ensuring that employees, stakeholders and partners are meeting the business key objectives. Leading strategic aims through day-to-day management of all business functions, supported by the Financial Controller, the role will ensure effective financial management and profitability with growth. Alongside the HR function, the CEO will recruit, develop and retain talent to maintain innovation, growth and versatility through effective business delivery.
The successful individual will have experience within a developing SME handling +£5m budgets across all functions. Ideally with knowledge of digital / creative or TV reporting to a multi-disciplinary board the appointed person will be a strong influencer, with good communication and motivational skills. An astute a commercial acumen and strategic planning expertise will ensure continued long-term success.

The CEO will lead strategy through to delivery whilst ensuring a positive impact to the geographical community and creative sector. This role is crucial in ensuring continued organisational growth.
