ABF Pictures Ltd are a small and dynamic TV advertising creative and production company. In the last 3 years we’ve grown rapidly and now we’re looking for a Business Development Manager to help us grow further.
The successful applicant will play a key role in the continued success of the company by focusing on researching new leads and setting up and attending meetings with potential clients.
You’ll have around two years’ experience in a sales / marketing / business development environment within the creative industry. Ideally you will have experience in developing business with advertising agencies.
The individual will need to be articulate, confident, and resilient. Attention to detail is a must and the ability to prioritise multiple tasks.
You will have a great work ethic, a positive attitude with a determined approach to researching leads and helping the team to win new business. Self-motivated but able to work as part of a team. An interest in television advertising and digital media is essential. Excellent communication skills in all forms including written, oral, email, telephone, and presentation. Good negotiation skills and persuasiveness, drive and motivation. A proven history of hitting and exceeding targets. A confident user of new technology.
Ability to identify new business opportunities using relevant research, sector specific targeting, emailing and cold calling.
Attending new business meetings and credentials presentations. Effective calling of prospects to convert into meeting/credential opportunities. Owning and managing the database of contacts, including regular updating.
Assisting with the development of marketing materials. Using new digital channels to communicate with potential clients. Networking at suitable events.
