We’re looking for an ambitious Business Development executive to help shape our sales process, and execute the strategy.
You’ll be supported by the expertise of the team and the founders, the data and the insight provided by our customer analysis, and an inbound and outbound marketing process. We want to make fans as well as customers, and that starts from the very first time they hear about us.
We offer a respectful and feedback-based recruitment process. If you send us your CV and we don’t ask you to come and see us then we can give you feedback as to why. We’d love to meet the right candidates face to face, and this will take the form of a coffee with the Formisimo founders. Following that we’d like the right candidates to meet ourselves, and our advisors, for a further meeting.
If you don’t make it past any of the meeting stages of the process then we’ll call you and are happy to provide feedback.
What we offer
Flexible hours and a flexible approach to holidays (we don’t keep track of the numbers).
Free coffee, donuts, breakfasts and more than occasional beer. Quarterly parties.
Quarterly performance bonuses, twice-annual company performance bonus.
A great working environment that will get the best out of you.
The chance to travel (UK/Europe) as part of your role.
What we’re looking for
4 years experience of sales;
You’ll be as comfortable selling over the phone, or on a G+ hangout as you are offline.
Solid experience in creating and executing an advanced sales strategy.
Solid experience in using Salesforce, LinkedIn and other online sales tools. Maintaining a record of your efforts is vital.
Solid experience of pitching, and demonstrating a digital product.
Strong negotiation skills and a proven track record in achieving sales targets.
Excellent organisational skills and time-keeping.
Strong attention to detail and great task-management skills.
Demonstrable ability to generate leads, nurture and close them as an individual.
Making a big difference and wanting to change the world will excite you, as will taking responsibility for growing revenue.
You’ll love building relationships. Achieving targets is important to you but never at the expense of the brand, the product or the team.
For you, selling is less about convincing someone to buy from you and more about the sheer force of your enthusiasm and knowledge of the product rubbing off on your potential customers.
You’ll be understanding of a startup environment and its fast pace, and how the success of the business is accelerated by a team that works together.
When you apply, tell us about a winning sales strategy that you created and executed.
You’ll love being part of a small team and working closely alongside (not below) the founders.
Autonomy and proactivity are second nature to you. You don’t need someone to hand-hold you, you just need someone to point you in the right direction and you will trail blaze your way there.
We’re incredibly flexible on holidays and working hours, but we’d like you to be willing to get stuck in when the company needs you. We’re doing something amazing, you’ll love working with us and the working hours won’t be nine to five.
You’re an awesome business developer right now, but you want to be a lot more than that, and you want to be part of something significant.
