McCann Manchester currently has a number of vacancies for experienced Account Managers, in particular those with B2B / construction or retail experience. As a leading digitally integrated communications agency we provide a range of communications solutions from press, radio and TV campaigns to online banner campaigns, website design and builds. We service a range of blue chip clients including Aldi, American Airlines, npower, and Shire Pharmaceuticals.

We are looking for an experienced B2B Account Manager to work on a number of accounts including construction, software and office products.

Many of these accounts have delivered national awards demonstrating the creativity within McCann Manchester. Reporting directly into a Group Account Director, this is an ideal opportunity for somebody wanting to expand their role and responsibilities.

In addition, we are also looking for an Account Manager with strong retail experience to work in a regional marketing team, providing a local perspective on all marketing communications activity and ensuring consistent local thinking across all collateral.

You’ll need the diplomacy to handle multiple stakeholders at any one time, remaining cool, calm and collected whatever the challenge. With an engaging personality you are ‘client first’ orientated and viewed as a real pleasure to work with by all that deal with you.

To be successful you will either need specific B2B experience, preferably within an agency environment. Experience in the construction sector would be a distinct advantage though not essential. Alternatively, you will need specific retail experience.

In addition, you’ll need all the usual skills of an effective Account Manager including; excellent communication skills, strong IT skills, attention to detail, highly developed organisational skills, along with being an excellent team player.
