Our client, one of the UK’s leading integrated communications consultancies is on the search for an experienced account manager with a genuine passion for B2B communication and excellent communication skills. The successful candidate will have at least four years’ PR agency experience and a thorough understanding of implementing strategic and creative communications campaigns in line with clients’ business objectives.
You will have a solid track record of integrating activity and generating excellent results across trade, social, regional and national media, as well as other channels, such as events and digital platforms.
Managing (up and down) a portfolio of accounts across a variety of B2B sectors
Driving campaigns, meeting/beating targets and delivering tailored, accurate evaluation of activity
Managing, supporting and coaching junior members of the team
Establishing trusted client relationships at a senior level and being the day-to-day point of contact
Running monthly update meetings and ensuring all reporting is accurate and timely
Producing a variety of content and ensuring all content produced by team members is 100% accurate and in line with brand positioning, key messaging, tone of voice etc
Thoroughly understanding all types of media/stakeholder touchpoints (and their key contacts) and how to effectively integrate and target them
Ensuring account teams are experts in their clients’ brands and markets
Looking for organic growth opportunities, developing creative ideas and selling them into clients
Managing client budgets and ensuring all commercial aspects of accounts run smoothly
Helping to develop new business opportunities
