Our Head Office is in the centre of Manchester, and it is in this office that we have an opportunity for an experienced Art Buyer to join us.
In this role you’ll drive quality and accessibility across all of our external suppliers and purchases. This is a broad role in terms of the vendors and relationships in which you’ll represent Lynx. We’ll ask you to drive the research, acquisition, negotiation and purchasing of everything from images for use in client campaigns through to individual freelancers and agencies for models, voiceover artists and so forth. You’ll develop a set of standards for conduct that we expect from our suppliers and apply this with rigour. You’ll work closely with our Commercial Director and Chief Creative Officer as well as those in our internal teams with responsibility for resource levels to identify expectations and gather recommendations as to suitable talent. You’ll develop networks of suppliers across all of your areas of responsibility and be able to respond to last minute requests from internal teams. You’ll then report on a monthly basis around the use of vendors and identify potential for efficiencies and how you plan to pursue these opportunities for cost savings and quality improvements.
As well as a proven track record in a similar role, your soft skills are important.
